A Century of Producing
We’re Triton Ocean Products—a long standing family business in Triton, Newfoundland, Canada. Our family business began in 1922 when Samuel G. Roberts sent his first schooner to Labrador for codfish. The business rapidly grew in 1944 when Samuel’s oldest son, Dorman, took the reins at the young age of fifteen. Jason, now manages and leads the Company, filling the legacy of his Father and Grandfather before him. On the eve of out centennial anniversary, we carry on that great legacy by preparing the finest of seafood products.
Triton Ocean Products is a successful seafood buyer and processor of the local seafood, focused on mussels and lobsters. We are proud to be builders of rural Newfoundland and to continue the long tradition of our seafaring ancestors. Our products are among the finest in the world, harvested in the pure, clean waters near our home. We are innovators and we are continuously working on new ways to expand our product lines, while making our current products best-in-class.
